                 Software, covering the years 1984--1997.",
readme = "There is a World Web Wide site for this journal at
                 http://computer.org/software, with (pagenumber-less)
tables of contents, links to article abstracts, and
subject and author indexes, for 1994 and 1995. \par The
initial draft of this bibliography was derived from the
OCLC Contents1st database, after conversion to BibTeX
form, and extensive editing and correction. This was
then augmented with entries from the author's personal
bibliography files, from the computer graphics
bibliography archive at ftp.siggraph.org, and from a
very large computer science bibliography collection on
ftp.ira.uka.de in /pub/bibliography to which many
people of have contributed. The snapshot of this
collection was taken on 5-May-1994, and it consists of
441 BibTeX files, 2,672,675 lines, 205,289 entries, and
                 6,375 <at>String{} abbreviations, occupying 94.8MB of
disk space. Where multiple sources of a particular
entry existed, field values have been manually merged
to preserve maximal information. \par In this
bibliography, entries are sorted in publication order,
using bibsort -byvolume.\par This journal has a glitzy
magazine-style layout. The tables of contents
correspond only vaguely to the article titles, which
themselves are often uncertain because of the (in my
view, absymal) typographical layout, and the `catchy'
titles often fail to reflect the contents. Thus, there
are many uncertain authors and titles in this
bibliography, because journal databases are sometimes
derived only from the tables of contents.",
