                 {http://www.siggraph.org/} Online Bibliography Project.
Our goal is to maintain an up-to-date and as complete
as possible database of computer graphics literature,
in a format available to as many members of the
computer graphics community as possible. The project
started with the DEC online computer graphics
bibliography, which covered the years 1976 through
1986, and added the contributed bibliographic databases
of a number of individuals, expanding the years covered
as well as the sources of information. This database
includes references from conferences and workshops
worldwide and from a variety of publications, from
magazines and journals to books dating back as far as
the late 19th century. The majority of the major
journals and conference proceedings between the
mid-1970's and 1993 are listed here. This project is an
ongoing concern: We plan to expand the bibliography,
both keeping it up-to-date as well as filling in
missing pieces, large or small, and polishing and
refining the format of the existing database. In
addition, plans to provide interactive online searching
of the database are underway. Alternative distribution
channels are also being considered. We *are* interested
in hearing about our mistakes: if there are references
which are in error, or missing, please let us know.
                 Questions, corrections, suggestions, and contributions
of material to the database can be directed to:
                 {"}bibadmin@siggraph.org{"} on the Internet.",
